Method to our (madness) system, scientifically and athletically tested and proven. You are an athlete, so train like one! Whether you’re a weekend warrior, spartan, or triathlete, our classes are designed to push you harder in a semi-private group setting than you ever would on your own. Our unique “buddy system” is designed to keep you personally and team accountable. That’s right, buddy system. You’ll team up with another athlete in each class where you will be pushed, challenged, and held to a higher standard than just self. Game On!

Our classes are what you make of them. The classes at Local Moves are created so that you can challenge yourself. You will have the ability to set your own speed and choose your own weight. Our classes are geared towards athletes of all ability and skill level.

If you can't run we have spin bikes that you can use in lieu of a treadmill.

We also encourage you to let your coach know if you have any other limitations so that they can advise you accordingly on any substitutions or scaled movements.

Our studio includes a variety of workout and cardio equipment. Including, but not limited to treadmills, ski-row airs, dumbbells, kettlebells, suspension trainers, BOSU trainers, jump ropes, exercise bands, etc.

With everyone having either an Apple Watch, FitBit or other personal fitness tracker that is calibrated to their own needs, we therefore do not provide heart rate monitors.

We do not provide towel service. We encourage you to bring your own towel if you need one while working out and/or after using one of our two showers.

We do not provide babysitting services.

We want you to have that one hour dedicated to you and your fitness. Please leave your phone in one of the cell phone lockers or a cubby in the lobby area.

Bring a water bottle, a towel, and a “I'm gonna crush my workout” attitude.

We offer four different monthly memberships and four different class packages. Which one is best suited for you depends on how you want to achieve your fitness goals. See this link for more information or to purchase one of our packages/memberships.

Yes, we have a drop in class rate as well as a three class trial package. See this link for more information or to purchase one of our packages/memberships.

Classes and membership packages are non-refundable. No exceptions. We do not offer refunds on purchases for our services.

If you are not going to be able to make the class, you will need to cancel at least 12 hours prior. Anything canceled less than 12 hours before class starts is a late cancel, and you will forfeit the class from your package or incur a $15 “no-show” fee to your membership.

The coach has quite a lot to do to set up the class before it begins. All of it is done before class starts. It is for this reason that we ask you to be at least 5 minutes early. If your spot wasn't given to someone that was on the waitlist for that class, then please join the class without disruption.

You can share from a class package with an existing member. We do not allow classes from memberships to be shared or transferred though.

We understand that life can get in the way. So, if you have an injury, we can freeze/suspend your account for up to 6 months. Also, we can freeze/suspend your account for the duration of your pregnancy or any portion of it. Everything else will need to be considered on an “as needed” basis. Ideally you should keep track of your classes and membership renewal date to avoid any unforeseen conflicts.

You can book your first class by signing up online or calling the Local Moves studio. Once you have an Local Moves membership, download the Local Moves app. You will be able to easily view schedules, book classes and get access to everything Local Moves.
